What is an EARLY BIRD PREORDER?

An early bird preorder is an opportunity for you to get a new sculpt before the official preorder and help support the release of a new doll. You will receive one of the nude artist sample dolls that I get from my casting studio, which I will then HAND PAINT and send to you along with a pair of random color glass eyes. (Future preorder dolls will be painted by the studio.)

These professionally cast sample dolls are usually identical to the final release dolls (but with my own faceup). However, sometimes minor adjustments may be made to future dolls. Also, please note that the dolls pictured are my own prototype made using PLA (not poured resin), so they are rough and unpainted. The color is more intense than the peach resin. The doll you receive will be professionally cast and smooth like my regular release dolls. 

How long is the WAIT TIME?

The wait time can vary depending if the doll is completely new or just a new head sculpt and the time of year which impacts the studio's schedule. You should expect at least 4-6 months from the time I submit the order, which is as soon as all the slots sell or the month's end, whichever comes first.

When will the OFFICIAL PREORDER be?

After the blank artist samples are received and early bird dolls fulfilled, I will send my painted master sample back to the studio for reference. They will use this to make a final artist proof which I will use for the regular preorder photos. This process usually takes at least 6 months if not more.

What SIZE is this doll?

Height - 34cm/13.3in 
Wig size - 6-7 inch
Eye size - 10mm oval
Clothes - Slim 12-13in dolls such as Marbles Halls "Little Meili" by Connie Lowe 
Shoes - 4.5-5cm length (various YOSD, same as my Bubba dolls) 

Do you accept LAYAWAY?

A 6-month layaway will be available for the official preorder but for the early bird dolls priority is given to those who can pay in full in order to help pay setup costs.

About Forever Virginia Dolls

This doll is a professional resin cast of my original sculpt. It is intended for mature collectors and while very sturdy, care must be taken when handling. The face is hand-painted by the factory from my own master sample. The example photos are of the factory faceup you will receive, but due to the nature of hand-painting may vary a bit. Random color eyes are included. Resin colors can look different between batches and on your screen, so please keep that in mind. Clothing and wigs or other accessories shown are NOT included unless otherwise indicated. Please refer to my FAQs for more info about ball-jointed dolls.

Waiting Time

Orders filled from stock on hand may still need extra time to prepare. Preorder dolls are ordered from casting at the close of the order period and take up to 6-8 months to produce. Then they are shipped to me for finishing and shipping. If you cannot wait this long please consider this.

Layaway Option

All layaway payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. Invoices will be sent (via Paypal) once every month until paid off. Completion of layaway payments does not necessarily mean your doll will be ready to ship.
